Ashley Burke Cobb
On the Court
Ashley is one of the most accomplished female basketball players to come out of British Columbia. Having received a full ride NCAA division 1 basketball scholarship to Gonzaga University, Ashley made her mark in program history ranking 6th all time in career points and rebounds, and 2nd all time in career field goal percentage. She was named a West Coast Conference (WCC) All Star in 2002/03,2003/04 and 2004/05, a WCC Tournament All Star in 2004 and 2005, and was team captain from 2003-2005. In 2005 Ashley also represented Canada at the FISU World University Games in Izmir, Turkey. Having played on several Basketball BC Provincial teams, Ashley was named as the MVP of the Canadian National Championship in 2000 where she lead Team BC to a gold medal. Ashley attended Argyle Secondary School where she lead the Pipers to North Shore and V&D Championships.
Ashley has been coaching for 6 years at various age groups and brings her passion for the game and development of young athletes day in and day out.
Off the Court
Ashley graduated with a degree in Sociology and Public Relations from Gonzaga University and was named to the WCC All Academic team in 2004/05. She was a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee while at Gonzaga where she took on a leadership role to ensure student-athlete welfare. Ashley has two young daughters, Charlotte (2) and Makenna (6 months) with her husband Andrew.

Basketball has always been a big part of my life and I look forward to bringing that same passion that I have to all of these young women."
